The Sound Project: take a children's book, read it in a quiet area, take it to the editing lab and add some music/ambiance/sound effects to it.
I've uploaded mine, so press play, close your eyes, and let the sounds form a picture in your mind. Have your minds eye explore it as if it's a camera on a slow-moving track, dollying itself through this room.
It actually works really well, considering I only spent 1 to 2 hours in the lab on it layering the sounds on and structuring the overall pacing.
